Complete Transcripts (Mark Sheets)
Secondary and post-secondary levels and graduation confirmation is required. Official
copies or certified (true) copies or your original documents are required. If documents
are not in English, a certified English translation must be provided:
- First-time freshmen: Submit official high school documents and any official university transcripts for course work taken while attending high school/secondary school, grades 9-12
- Transfer students: Submit university of post-secondary institution transcript and, if awarded, the diploma statement, diploma, or certificate. Transfer students with fewer than 24 transferable semester hours must also submit secondary school/high school documents.
Credential Evaluation Report
At this time, OLLU does not evaluate international transcripts. The applicant must
submit an official credential evaluation report from an OLLU approved credential evaluation service.
Affidavit of Support and Financial Verification
The Affidavit of Support must be filled out by the account holder for the financial
documentation.
Financial documents must be dated within six months of the date of application. The
applicant will be held personally responsible for all expenses incurred while in school
at OLLU, even if the applicant is sponsored by another person or agency. The applicant
will be required to prove financial ability to the United States Consulate in order
to be approved for a visa. As mandated by law, Our Lady of the Lake has no federal
or state funds which are available for foreign students.
SAT/ACT scores
International applicants are not required to submit SAT/ACT scores for admission.
However, we recommend applicants submit SAT/ACT test results to determine eligibility
for an international scholarship.
Verification of English Proficiency
Applicants must meet one of the two options:
International applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit
proof of English proficiency. The English proficiency requirement can be satisfied
by submitting the minimum test score on the Duolingo, IELTS or TOEFL exam. Waiver options are available for undergraduate freshmen or transfers who meet certain
criteria.
A photocopy of current I-20 or DS-2019
If student is currently in the U.S. on an F or J visa.
A copy of your passport (if available)

A nonrefundable $50 application fee.
The international application fee is nonrefundable and covers processing and mailing
of admission documents. Payment may be made with a check or Dollar Draft payable to
"Our Lady of the Lake University-International Admissions." Please include the full
name of the applicant on the check or money order. This fee cannot be waived or deferred.
