Student Employment
The Student Employment Office (SEO) at Our Lady of the Lake University is available to assist all OLLU undergraduate students taking a minimum of 12 credit hours, to include all international students, or graduates taking six or more hours, with finding part-time employment on and off campus with community service agencies partnered with OLLU. The university offers a variety of hourly part-time, on-campus employment opportunities which require different degrees of skill or experience.
During the fall and spring semesters, approximately 425 students work at the university under federal, state and institutional funding. Positions are based on availability and are open to those who meet the requirements shown on the job vacancy listing.
Positions available may include:
- General office assistants
- Accounting clerks
- Biology lab assistants
- Public relations specialists
- Library circulation desk assistants
- Buyer and merchandiser clerks
- Computer lab assistants
- Research assistants
- Postal assistants
Students eligible to receive federal work study are able to apply for off-campus employment with service organizations in the surrounding community that partner with OLLU.
