Join Us for a Life-Changing Summer Camp at Sias University!

Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) students have the exclusive opportunity to participate in a FREE Summer Camp at Sias University in Zhengzhou, China, from May 18-25, 2025. This immersive program offers leadership-building activities, peer dialogues, cultural exploration, and industry visits, all designed to enhance your global perspective.

 

Program Highlights

  • Location - Sias University, Zhengzhou, China
  • Dates - May 18 -25, 2025
  • Fully Covered Program - No program fees! Meals, dorms, and local transportation are provided by Sias University.
  • Engaging Activities - Participate in peer dialogues, leadership programs, social networking events, and industry visits. Activities may include:
    • Chinese Kung Fu classes
    • Tea-making workshops
    • Intangible cultural heritage activities
    • Excursions to historic sites & museums
  • Cultural Immersion - Attend lectures on Chinese History, language, culture, economics, music, and more.
  • Airport Pickup & Drop-Off - Hassle-free travel within Chine, courtesy of Sias University.
  • Explore - Take part in an optional post-camp trip to famous landmarks (self-paid).

 

What You Need to Cover

While the program fee and transportation are covered by Sias University, students are responsible for: 

  • Airfare to and from China
  • Travel Insurance (required for Visa)
  • Chinese Visa Application Fees
  • Optional Cultural Trips
  • Personal Expense 

Please Note: A $500 deposit is required to secure your spot by March 27, 2025.

Optional Post-Camp Trip

After the camp, explore more of China with an exclusive 7-day tour starting at $798 per person. 

Trip Route:

  • Shaolin Temple (Zhengzhou) – Master Kung Fu & visit Mount Song
  • Luoyang – See the stunning Longmen Grottoes
  • Xi’an – Discover the Terracotta Warriors & ancient city walls
  • Beijing – Walk the Great Wall & explore the Forbidden City
