Vice President for Institutional Enrollment

Dr. Jessica González Uhlig serves as Vice President for Institutional Enrollment at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) with 25 years of experience in student recruitment and retention, and mission integration in Catholic higher education institutions. 

In her role, Dr. Uhlig leads the teams that make up our Admissions offices, Undergraduate and Graduate Recruitment and Retention, and the Campus Visit Experience.  On campus, or on the road visiting high schools, Dr. Uhlig loves meeting new students and their parents so she can share the academic and community highlights that make OLLU the place for them.  

 As mentoring, and professional support was awarded to Dr. Uhlig while navigating higher education and academia, she is committed to empowering young Latina women to use their voice, and God-given skills to make a difference in the world.

Outside Interests

Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Uhlig is always supporting cultural events and continues to provide pro bono college counseling services to Spanish speaking families in Puerto Rico who want to pursue college degrees in the U.S. She is a classic Hollywood and Broadway enthusiast and loves to hike and go camping when it’s not 100 degrees! Dr. Jess, as her students call her, is the proud mom of Layla, Sarah, Mariana and Andres, and dog mom to Granger and Cocoa.
