Gloria Urrabazo, MA, MSW
Vice President for Mission and Ministry

Gloria Urrabazo serves as the Vice President for Mission and Ministry at Our Lady of the Lake University. She is dedicated to integrating the university’s mission across campus as part of the living legacy of the founders, the Congregation of Divine Providence (CDP). She works to provide opportunities for collaborative, strategic, and innovative engagement in living out the core values of the university.  

In her role, Ms. Urrabazo works in the areas of Catholic identity, charism of Providence, and student engagement. She works directly with students through the CDP Social Justice Living Learning Community, and the Faith in Action: Embracing Providence program. She oversees the University Ministry program and all campus signature events. Ms. Urrabazo also provides Spiritual Direction for members of the community and works with programs that will enhance opportunities for student engagement with churches across the city. 

Before joining OLLU, Ms. Urrabazo, worked in areas of parish ministry, campus ministry, grant writing and diocesan administration of campus ministry.

Outside Interests

Outside the university, Ms. Urrabazo is involved with the Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE), a nationwide network of 300 colleges and universities formed to support and enrich vocational exploration. She also is active with intercollegiate collaboration among Catholic universities and parishes throughout the archdiocese. She is active in and has a life-long commitment to young adult ministry.
