Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff
Dr. George Williams serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU), where he is dedicated to advancing the university’s mission through strategic leadership and operational excellence. Dr. Williams is committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that supports both academic and student success.
In his role, Dr. Williams oversees key administrative functions, develops and implements university policies, and collaborates with faculty, staff, and students to enhance institutional effectiveness. His leadership style emphasizes innovation, transparency, and a commitment to shared governance.
Before joining OLLU, Dr. Williams held various leadership positions in the K-12 and higher education setting, where he demonstrated a profound dedication to enhancing student success and institutional growth. His diverse educational background equips him with the insights necessary to navigate the complexities of university administration.

Outside Interests
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr. Williams serves as Treasurer of the Texas Council for Exceptional Children, Board Chair of the Carver Development Board, and Scholarship Program Chair for the City of San Antonio, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Commission. He enjoys writing children’s short stories, going for walks with his family, and crafting meals for loved ones to express care and gratitude. These interests reflect his belief in the importance of creativity, family time, and nurturing connections.
