Curriculum Vitae

Areas of Expertise

Bilingual/Bicultural Service Provider, Bilingualism/Multicultural Issues, Early Intervention and Language.

Teaching Philosophy

My approach to teaching is strongly rooted in practice. It is my belief that students need opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts. My classes/clinic assignments are designed to fulfil this purpose.  I provide a supportive and safe learning environment for students to do this using a combination of readings, videos, lectures, role playing, guided discussions, games, and simulations.

Outside Interests

Spending time with my family, reading, listening to music, and playing board games.
