Impact of OLLU: OLLU has had a profound impact on my life. Throughout my college career, I have made amazing friendships that have helped me grow and have created unforgettable memories that I will cherish forever. The opportunities presented to me by OLLU, such as speaking in front of the president and attending conferences, have been invaluable. The support system I have had throughout my career has been nothing short of exceptional, teaching me valuable lessons and always being there to listen. OLLU has prepared me well enough that I can confidently say I am ready to take on the world!

An important life lesson: The biggest lesson I've learned is the power of perseverance and determination. No matter how tough life gets or how insurmountable obstacles may seem, hard work and dedication can make anything possible. Every challenge and setback teach valuable lessons and help individuals grow. Success is not just about achieving goals but also the journey itself. It's important to remember the purpose and keep moving forward, as the long nights, tears, and sacrifices will all be worth it in the end.

Plans for the future: I have secured a teaching position with the SAISD District, and I am excited to begin my journey as a high school math teacher in January 2024. With my degree and experiences from OLLU, I hope to make a positive impact on the lives of young students. As a math teacher in a high school, I hope to inspire and motivate my students to reach their full potential! OLLU has equipped me with the necessary tools and knowledge to become an effective educator, and I plan to utilize these skills to nurture an environment of learning and growth. I hope to inspire my students to develop a love for math and to help them realize the value of education. Ultimately, my goal is to make a difference in the lives of my students and contribute towards shaping a brighter future for our society.
