Our Lady of the Lake University’s (OLLU) undergraduate Kinesiology Program has been awarded accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). OLLU is one of only two universities in Texas to receive this prestigious accreditation status.

“The commission recognizes your organization’s commitment to continuous quality improvement in health professions education, as demonstrated by your participation in CAAHEP programmatic accreditation,” said Donald Balasa, JD, MBA, president of CAAHEP.

OLLU’s Kinesiology Program had to demonstrate compliance with standards set forth by CAAHEP. They were established in conjunction with the Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences, American College of Sports Medicine, American Council on Exercise, American Kinesiotherapy Association, American Red Cross, National Academy of Sports Medicine, and National Council on Strength and Fitness.
