Nov 08, 2019

The Office of the Governor has awarded Our Lady of the Lake University a two-year $252,222 grant to extend its support of the OLLUCares Program.

OLLUCares empowers students, faculty and staff and lets them know their well-being and personal safety matters.

“Through this grant, we will be able to continue to provide educational programming on our OLLU campuses to help prevent and reduce violence and crimes, such as sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking,” said Jacqueline Walter, Director, Center for Women in Church and Society.

“Services and support will continue to be provided through our OLLUCares confidential advisors. Services are provided to students, faculty and staff, regardless of sex, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion or national origin.”
