Areas of Expertise
My areas of expertise include strengths-based approaches to psychotherapy, brief and one-at-a-time therapy delivery models, and youth mental health and Mental Health First Aid-Youth and Adult modules.
Teaching Philosophy
The classroom is a culturally and personally respectful shared space. It is co-constructed with students for rich and safe idea exchange. Learning is inter-and intra-personal. We learn in community and through relationships. We teach/learn content and teach/learn about ourselves and our collectives. We reflect on privilege, knowledge, production, inclusivity and belonging. We cultivate strengths and celebrate successes all in preparation for ethical, compassionate and skillful service to diverse communities.
Outside Interests
I enjoy eight-mile walks, artistic activities, time with friends and family and travel.
